Rep. Hackbarth proposed the placement of slot machines at tracks for the stadium of the Vikings. Lester Bagley said that they appreciate Hackbarths effort to help them build a new stadium.
The California Gaming Commission give their consent for new 10,000 slot machines licenses for tribes. Tribes that only offer fewer than 2,000 machines will be eligible to petition for more machines.
Gov. Strickland said that the budget for Ohio education may suffer as much as 10.3% cuts because of the decision of the Court on the slots plan. The plan is subject to a vote in November 2010.
William H. Warner has backed out from his bid to gain a license in Rhode Island. Warner backed out because of his plans to build a slots casino in Massachusetts.
